Microsoft Windows 2000

Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional Introduction
This is an introductory course designed to make the student feel comfortable with starting and logging on to Windows 2000. You will learn to run and switch between programs, manipulate single and multiple windows, use the Windows Help option, and open drives and folders in My Computer. You will also learn to manage documents and objects, copy and format disks and use shortcuts and customize the Start Menu and taskbar.

Microsoft Windows 2000 Professional New Features
This class is designed to help students learn and use Help functions in Windows 2000, browse your computer and network, control system settings and use Windows 2000 tools.

Microsoft Word

Microsoft Word XP New Features
This half-day course guides students through the transition from Word 97 to Word XP, offering a quick reference to the new and improved features of XP. You will explore the Word application environment elements such as the application window and page views, and become familiar with basic tools such as the synonyms shortcut menu, the translation feature, the word count toolbar and the print zoom option. You will also learn about smart tags, the styles and formatting pane, new tables features and enhancements and the mail merge wizard. You will finish with an introduction to the new drawing canvas and Web document features.

Introduction to Microsoft Word 2000
This is an introductory course covering the basics of Word 2000. You will learn to manage your documents, get help, make simple editing changes, check and format text and change page layout. Learn how to view and add page numbers, headers and footers and how to change paragraph formatting, preview and print documents.

Intermediate Microsoft Word 2000
This course is designed to take the student beyond the basic features of Microsoft Word. You will learn about automation features such as AutoCorrect, AutoComplete, Auto Text and AutoFormat. You’ll learn to insert symbols and special characters into text, and to create, modify and format tables and columns. To enhance your existing documents, you will be instructed in using styles and templates, in formatting sections and how to use Web technology. Finally, you will cover the manipulation of outlines and mail merge features.

Advanced Microsoft Word 2000
This intensive two-day class covers all the advanced end-user features of Microsoft Word 2000. You will learn how to set paragraph text flow and add borders and shading to paragraphs; create and modify styles; record, run, edit, delete, copy, and rename macros; and customize toolbars and menus and assign shortcut keys. Activities will include creating templates and managing items in templates; creating printed and online forms; inserting and modifying charts and graphics; and creating drop caps and watermarks. You will also learn how to use bookmarks and fields; create footnotes, endnotes, cross-references, a table of contents, an index, and a master document; and import and export files and paste, link, and embed information. Finally, in-class exercises will allow you to share documents, track changes to documents, and work with different document versions; sort tables and text; and work with data in tables.

Microsoft Excel

Microsoft Excel XP New Features
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to use the new features and tools included in the Excel XP environment. You will be shown how to use the enhanced features for working with data, and the new and improved function features. Students will learn how to save an Excel Worksheet as a Web document, as well as work in an interactive Excel Web document.

Introduction to Microsoft Excel 2000
This one-day introductory class covers all the basics of Microsoft Excel 2000. You will learn how to enter and edit information in a worksheet; manage and navigate worksheets and workbooks; perform calculations and manipulate worksheet data; format the worksheet contents; and prepare, set up, and print information.

Intermediate Microsoft Excel 2000

This one-day course begins by guiding you through Excel’s charting features. You will learn how to create and edit charts; modify chart options; format chart objects; work with multiple worksheets and workbooks, and use financial and logical functions. Students also gain hands-on experience using styles, custom formats, and conditional formatting and preparing workbooks for publication on the World Wide Web.

Advanced Microsoft Excel 2000
This in-depth two-day course introduces Microsoft Excel 2000 users to the advanced features of the software application. You will learn how to sort and manage data in lists; filter and query data; use outlines on worksheets, lookup and database functions, and PivotTables. In-class exercises will involve use of data tables and scenarios to make projections about data and use Goal Seek, Solver, and the Analysis ToolPak to analyze data. You will also learn how to audit worksheets, protect worksheets and workbooks, create and use macros and templates, and import and export information and documents. Additional topics include use of workgroup features; working with custom views and Report Manager; and creating and modifying data maps.

Microsoft PowerPoint

Microsoft PowerPoint XP New Features
You will explore the new features added to Microsoft PowerPoint since PowerPoint 97.

Introduction to Microsoft PowerPoint 2000
This introductory course is designed for students who want to learn to create dynamic PowerPoint 97 presentations using color, text, graphic objects, patterns, shadows, clip art, pictures, charts, and slide shows.

Microsoft PowerPoint Power User
This one day course is a fast paced combination of materials included in the PowerPoint 2000 Intermediate and PowerPoint 2000 Advanced courses. You will enhance text, use Outline view, work with tables and datasheet charts. During this course you will also learn about multimedia features, work with Masters; discover how to share information, and learn how to create enhanced slide shows.

Microsoft Outlook

New Features of Microsoft Outlook XP
This course serves as a quick reference to new and improved features since Outlook 98 and guides students through the transition process. Students will explore new and improved features of Outlook 2002. This course includes the most common features.

Introduction to Microsoft Outlook 2000
This comprehensive one-day course will introduce new users to the Outlook 2000 features. You will learn how to send and receive messages; manage folders and messages; and schedule appointments, meetings, and events. You will also learn how to manage tasks and contacts; and create and manage notes.

Intermediate Microsoft Outlook 2000

This course will show you how to customize Outlook toolbars and menus; manage outgoing e-mail messages; work with views and groups; and manage Outlook items using categories. Also, you’ll learn how to use Internet features and personal messaging tools; manage Calendar settings; track activities and files in the Journal; find Outlook items using the Find feature; and organize Outlook items using the Organize feature.

Advanced Microsoft Outlook 2000
This comprehensive high end-user course teaches participants how to work with the Outlook newsreader; customize Outlook components; and work with forms. Activities will also include using Outlook with other Office applications; sharing information in Outlook; managing delegates; and archiving information.

Introduction to Crystal Reports 8.0/8.5
Crystal Reports 8.0/8.5 Introduction. Students will learn the basics of report creation, including sorting, grouping, linking, basic formula creation, working with report experts and report distribution.

Advanced Crystal Reports 8.0/8.5
Crystal Reports 8.0/8.5 Advanced. You will learn how to create advanced formulas, format reports based on calculation results, use multiple sections, insert sub-reports, access data from external sources and create user libraries.
